Ram Charan, Samantha starrer Rangasthalam made a massive collection at the worldwide box office and became the fourth all-time highest grossing Telugu film, beating the lifetime business of Magadheera.
Rangasthalam has become highest grossing movie for Ram Charan, beating Magadheera, which minted Rs 150 crore gross. Rangasthalam has collected Rs 151.29 Cr gross worldwide. The movie will beat soon Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 which is grossed Rs 164 Cr.
Rangasthalam is an Telugu period drama directed by Sukumar and starring Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles, while Aadhi Pinisetty and Jagapathi Babu play crucial roles. The movie will see Ram Charan play a villager and is an action thriller story set in the country side. The movie was launched by Chiranjeevi in February and commenced shooting in April 2017.
After finishing Rangasthalam, Ram Charan will start shooting for director Koratala Siva’s next. He is also co-producing the untitled movie for his home production Konidela Production Company.
