Simran playing a negative role in Sivakarthikeyan’s next film SK12

Simran is playing a negative role in Sivakarthikeyan’s next film SK12 directed by Ponram. In her recent interview to English Daily DT Next, she said she has interesting characters in both the projects, especially in Sivakarthikeyan’s film as she plays a negative role. “I’m playing a negative character in this one, and it’s something very unique. It’s like another feather in my cap. The film is set against a village backdrop and it’s full on entertainment.”

Sivakarthikeyan acting with comic actor Soori. Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays the female lead in this film which also starrs Napolean, Simran, Lal, Rajendran, Mano Bala and Yogi Babu. Produced by R.D. Raja of 24AM Studios, the movie has D. Imman for the music, Balasubramaniem for cinematography and Vivek Harshan for the edits.

Sivakarthikeyan latest movie Velaikkaran is running successfully. This  is a 2017 Indian Tamil language social thriller film written and directed by Mohan Raja. Featuring an ensemble cast including Sivakarthikeyan, Fahadh Faasil and Nayanthara, the film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Ramji. Produced by R. D. Raja, the film is based on a sales executive named Arivu who fights against food adulteration committed by high-class companies.
